In the November 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, Stephen is the focus of the "V.F. Portrait" column. Personally, I think the column, written by TV host Dick Cavett, is terrible. It's 400 words that give absolutely no new insight (or even old insight) into Stephen, his character or his process.
However, Annie Leibovitz saves the day with her amazing portrait of Stephen and his writing team.
There is also a delightful "behind the scenes" video of the photo shoot.
