"The gloves are off, motherf*cker"
Whoa. I've never heard Colbert say that before (and seemingly mean it?). At least, I don't think I have, and, truth be told, I didn't actually hear it because they bleeped it. Yeah, you might want to see this interview.
Colbert is joined by H. Jeffrey Leonard who recently published a piece in the Washington Monthly. Leonard makes the argument that small businesses are cash-poor in this economy, as compared to the many cash-rich large corporations because large corporations don't pay their bills in timely manner. Essentially, Leornard argues, big business is using small business as its bank.
Things get heated in this must-see inerview, and Leonard says to Colbert that he's "good with a teleprompter but obviously never read a payroll." (I think I quoted that right.)
