Perhaps I'm revealing my age, but when I hear Harry Connick, Jr., I have a flashback to When Harry Met Sally. I can't help myself. His music makes me smile. In Concert on Broadway is Connick's latest. As always, his work is classic.
People are usually familiar with Connick's New Orleans roots and the influence of the city on his music. Colbert brings up Connick's history as well as his Connick's involvement with the New Orleans Habitat Musicians' Village. It's a Habitat for Humanity project consisting of around 80 homes and by sustaining the music community, strives to sustain New Orleans sound.
